HC Herm Edwards looks at a TE and sees an extra blocker for his boring, predictable, and largely ineffective offense. (Not that we have an opinion or anything.) Now not even Lewis would take Gonzalez out of the passing game, but he might take some of the passing game out of Gonzalez (and everybody else). In the end, we actually expect Gonzalez to have a slightly better year than he did in 2005, as his TD total should increase and help offset a decrease in his yardage.
